Human plasma from peripheral blood
Plasma is the liquid component of blood in which the blood cells in whole blood are normally suspended. Important elements in plasma include albumin, coagulation factors, fibrinolytic proteins, immunoglobulins, and other proteins.

Human peripheral blood plasma is collected in FDA-registered collection centres following cGMP and cGTP collection guidelines from IRB consented healthy human volunteer donors. The plasma is separated from whole blood which has been collected in a CPD collection bag or EDTA specimen tubes. Plasma can be provided in fresh or cryopreserved format.

Storage at −80 °C.
