These versatile tubes can be used for freezer storage, boiling applications, centrifugation and other laboratory applications. The deep flexible sealing lip inside the cap ensures a positive leakproof seal and prevents the contents of the tube from coming into contact with the threads, thereby reducing the chances of sample contamination. Screw caps are completely removable from the tubes. Tubes are available with skirts, which means that they are free standing. In addition tubes without skirts are available sterile and with white marking fields and graduations.
